Xris brings his ability to both score and organize all the hipster performance artists necessary to entertain the salivating troops. He was one of the many organizers responsible for last year's Deviant Playground, and you can see his technological wizardry all around you at SMack! As a professional recording engineer and a member of the fetishistic multi-media performance group YabYum, Xris has helped to transform the "sight" of the fetish world into "sound" at a number of events, including the SIGRAFF Computer and Sex Show at Jupiter Interactive, and has contributed to the Dressing for Pleasure conventions, the Fetish Mardi Gras and The Eulenspeigel Society's 25th Anniversary.

Chris Ward worked on the wonderful Fetish Factor parties of yore, held at Lucky Cheng's before it started serving food, and since then has helped to both build and promote two local dungeons. He brings a literary background to his public SM persona, with his writings appearing in Corporal, Dominant View, Prometheus and SM News. An active member of The Eulenspiegel Society, Chris was instrumental in organizing the well-received Fetish Fashion Show at TES25's Anniversary Fashion Show. He is currently working on a book about adolescent masturbation.

Together the two Chris' had a vision of a younger, hipper and far more attractive fetish crowd-a vision described by the two as a response to the stuffy, overpriced "older" mood found at more established Manhattan SM clubs. They've realized that vision with SMack! The premier party drew attendees from far and wide, including Master R. and Madame Sang of The Country House, an upstate "Bed and Dungeon." They put on quite a show with the portable dungeon equipment, positioning two novice participants face to face on a wooden side horse and roping them together in the Cherry Blossom style. Night number two received the imprimatur of renowned dungeon masters Robert Flutie and Wolf, which contributed considerably to the evening's credibility factor.
